My design aesthetic is reliant on the space I'm working on. My NYC apartment is Contemporary Modern while my Lake House definitely has a European Country vibe.

I approach each design by considering first how the client wants the space to feel and operate. No matter the room, my goal is to create a space that is curated, relaxed and refined. I focus my designs on balancing texture and tone with timeless style to create spaces that feel elevated and livable.

Devanshi specializes in warm minimalism—calm, clean spaces layered with warmth, personality, and intention. It’s about creating flow, choosing materials that last, and making sure everything feels cohesive and deeply livable. She works with an organized monochrome base and brings in richness through natural textures like wood, marble, and thoughtfully chosen pops of color. While this aesthetic guides her work, she always designs with her client in mind.

I love layering contrasting styles/shapes/textures. Perhaps because I studied architecture, I hold a special place in my heart for the uncluttered modernist aesthetic of Scandinavian design. But for warmth, depth and personality, I like to mix contemporary with more traditional or rustic elements, or clean lines with soft shapes.

My design aesthetic blends Midcentury Modern, Maximalism, and Contemporary Modern, creating a balance of timeless form, bold personality, and functionality. I draw inspiration from clean lines, organic shapes, and warm wood tones, highlighting classic silhouettes with a hint of retro flair. Maximalism enables me to layer patterns and textures, creating spaces that feel personal and tell a story through bold art and carefully curated treasures.

My favorite design Aesthetic is Modern Bohemian. I love to mix clean lines with earthy tones, and organic textures, while always bringing the outside in with greenry and florals. To me this always creates a comfortable and welcoming home.

As a designer, I believe that my purpose is to create the scenario where people will create memories and it’s a responsibility I take seriously! Your home design, should be a true reflection of you. It’s not about design trends, it’s about your personality and allowing yourself to mix styles which creates a much more timeless design! Also, the design should be functional for it to last. Making sure the flow of the room and its needs are met, is just as important as the room’s aesthetic!

My favorite design aesthetic is eclectic with lots of cozy textures mixed in. I am all about maximalist but in every aspect - if you love neutrals then go all out with a neutral palette or if you love patterns, then mix and match all the patterns. My personal style is full of color, and patterns but I still love a clean, simple palette too. My design philosophy is be true to your personal style and your design aesthetic will organically follow.
