I love Modern Minimalist Glam styles, and Eclectic variations of mixing these to create serene, balanced, and timelessly chic looks. Also love a good Classic & clean elegant Transitional look, as well as Earthy Industrial Modern vibes. Good at listening, helping explain the differences between styles, marrying styles, & coming up with a unique style name for clients!

My favorite style is Eclectic, because it has a mix of different styles and you can play with colours and shapes to create a master piece. Also my main objetive is always the comfort and cozyness of the space.

Glam design is often a favorite because it exudes a sense of luxury, sophistication, and boldness. It often draws inspiration from vintage styles, evoking a sense of nostalgia while remaining modern and fresh. For those who adore a little sparkle and a touch of extravagance in their surroundings, glam design perfectly encapsulates a lifestyle that values beauty, creativity, and the finer things in life.

Coastal and glam are both fantastic design aesthetics! Coastal design brings a sense of relaxation and tranquility with its light color palettes, natural textures, and nautical-inspired accents. It's like bringing the serene vibe of the beach into your home. On the other hand, glam design adds a touch of luxury and sophistication with its bold colors, luxurious fabrics, and glamorous accents like crystal chandeliers and mirrored furniture. It's all about creating a space that feels extravagant!

I love creating functional. ergonomic, and aesthetic spaces. Here are my faves: 1.Transitional-Contemporary with a hint of Glam is the right direction for many homes. I love mixing these styles, using rich colors & textures with slick and clean lines and finishes. 2.Eclectic: a tricky design style, but boy, isn't it fun?! Balancing it properly, with a backbone of color, pattern & texture, it's never boring or overwhelming. 3. Art Deco: screams "FESTIVE! " works best in dining and powder roo

My favorite design aesthetic happens when you blend a couple of different styles - pulling top themes from each style the client resonates with. When done well, it can give the space a rich, warm, curated feel that tells a unique story through textures and layers. Mixing styles work to showcase the personality of the people who live in the room and how they interact in the space - I love seeing rooms like that come to life.

I have a strong preference for design aesthetics that incorporates natural materials and elements such as wood, stone, metal, and glass. I prefer these materials since more than 99% of human history happened while surrounded by nature, which we evolve to react to, not the artificial environment we are used to. That's why I prefer to use natural materials or designs that evoke nature. I also love animals, and I run a pet-friendly interior design blog https://barkandchase.com

My personal design aesthetic has changed over the years. I have always loved mid century modern and modern clean lines - that has not changed! However my work experience has pushed me to see the beauty in very traditionally designed spaces. Now, I love and can appreciate all design aesthetics whether they match my personal tastes or not.
